In a dream world I could listen to podcasts and read books, magazines and blogs all day long, but in reality it can be hard to find the time. However, if you find yourself with a few moments, here are some of the blogs I like to read – I hope you enjoy them too.

Nat at Baby Friendly Brum is fellow Brummie and a mummy. I really admire her drive to just get out and do stuff with a toddler in tow. If you’re Midlands based and want to keep on living and being sociable when you’ve got kids, her blog and her Instagram are worth a look.

Emma at Aspiring Yummy Mummy is also a fellow Brummie, and a mummy, who’s currently expecting her second child so you can expect musings on everything from pregnancy to toddlers and becoming a mum of two; I love her relatable, down to earth mom content which you can find here.

If you don’t already know about The Unmumsy Mum I guess maybe you’ve been hiding under a rock (and if you have young children that’s okay, you’re probably knackered and frazzled, hide away my friend!) but she makes me laugh out loud a lot and she’s not afraid to talk about the less lovely aspects of being a mum which I like.

I have a love affair with eating, which people less piggy than me (like my husband) might call a ‘problem’ so it goes without saying that I like to watch programmes about it on TV, think about it, read about it etc…
