Yesterday I wentto the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to see the Best of Birmingham garden, which fyi won a gold medal. This was a delight on a variety of levels as it meant a day out of the office and happened to coincide beautifully with the first proper bit of sunshine we’ve had here for what feels like forever.
We enjoyed a light lunch in the garden at Bluebird Cafe on the King’s Road, where I managed to catch the sun (hello freckles!) and after which I spotted Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Proudlock. (That’s worth a mention by the way because he’s nice to look at.)
My favourite thing about the Best of Birmingham garden was the little canal, with its lock and floral barge. I also found lots of other pretty things that I liked though so here are some photos. Apologies to anyone who follows me on instagram as you will already be very bored of my flower pictures.
